About the Countywide Transportation Plan 2050
The Countywide Transportation Plan 2050 brings together two comprehensive planning efforts for Marin County—the Marin Countywide Transportation Plan and the Countywide Community Based Transportation Plan (CBTP).

During the development of the CTP,  TAM engaged with the public through surveys, pop-up events, and focus groups to gather insights into Marin County’s transportation needs.

TAM previously prepared Community-Based Transportation Plans (CBTPs) for equity priority communities in Marin City, San Rafael, and Novato. The Countywide CBTP builds on that previous work and establishes a holistic approach towards transportation equity on a countywide scale. The CBTP is fully integrated into the CTP 2050.

TAM received $400,000 for the Countywide Transportation Plan and $150,000 for the Community Based Transportation Plan through the One Bay Area Grant Program, Cycle 3.
