The Novato Boulevard Improvement Project is designed to improve the safety and usability of a 2.8-mile section of this busy roadway. The project has been divided into three segments, of which segments 2 and 3 have been completed:

Novato Boulevard was the top-ranked Major Roads program in the Northern Marin Planning Area. Below is the breakdown of Measure A funding for completed segments 2 and 3, as well as allocated funding for the segment 1 work.
